(Free-Press-Release.com) February 15, 2010 — Attempting to control overexcited toddlers, whilst making sure Grandma doesn’t fall asleep on the chaise lounge in a hot, brightly lit studio is unlikely to result in a perfect family photograph. Using a familiar environment such as the home or garden can increase the chances of success but, there is still camera set-up and know how to contend with along with picking a setting and somehow taking ‘natural’ pictures that bear more than a passing resemblance to the subject matter!
Family and Children Photography Made Simple
Digital photography school Photography Made Simple has launched a dedicated ‘families and children’ photography course to make it easier to take wonderful keepsakes, in natural settings, with existing camera equipment. Course teachers introduce and instruct in simple photography techniques that can ease the process of photographing children; including a few easy-to-follow industry methods and tricks.
Launched by professional photographers Phil and Rachel Hibberd, Photography Made Simple has years of experience photographing families and has led hundreds of tricky commercial shoots involving children.
Phil Hibberd said, “We know that most people would like to take natural pictures of their children, partners and extended families without a studio backdrop and formal setting so a portrait photography course wouldn’t be suitable. Taking great pictures isn’t hard but there are a few techniques to think about which we teach on our families and children photography course.
One enthusiastic mum said, “A big thank you for your patience. I have driven the boys mad today with picture taking but have enjoyed experimenting and didn’t use any automatic settings.”
The photography training courses take place all over the country, in some of the most exquisite surroundings Britain has to offer. The ‘children and families’ courses are available throughout February and March 2010 and prices start at £85. Gift Certificates are also available from www.photographymadesimple.co.uk/reservation.
