And if you know someone who’d benefit, we have a ‘learn photography’ gift certificate for them too!  We think everyone can take good pictures, regardless of age, sex and make of camera and have designed our photography courses accordingly.

Our digital photography courses can be found at more than a dozen venues around the UK with breathtakingly beautiful settings in England, Scotland and Wales – click on the  photography course or a location for more information.  We can also come to you – click here for prices and information.

Mobile phones aren’t the best cameras, but they’re always with you and you can take amazing pictures if you know what you’re doing.  What can you do to make your pictures look cool?  What type of pictures look good on a tiny screen?  How can you make best use of the modes on your phone, and what can you do with the pictures you take?  We keep it all simple – the clue’s in the name!photography course

Little cameras can take big pictures sometimes – the trick is to know what the camera is trying to do, and work with it. We emphasise composition and break all pictures into two basic kinds with tips on how to get good results with both. Even bad cameras can take good pictures and vice versa. When should you use modes? Can you cheat? We can help by keeping it simple.

People photographs are divided into formal “portraits”, where the subject is aware they’re being photographed, and “candids,” where they aren’t. Portrait photographers know it’s not quite as simple as that. We’ll help you to get natural pictures of people that capture their personalities.
