Our digital photography courses teach beginners to learn and enjoy photography in some of the most popular and beautiful locations in the UK.

Mobile phones aren’t the best cameras, but they’re always with you and you can take amazing pictures if you know what you’re doing. What can you do to make your pictures look cool? What type of pictures look good on a tiny screen? How can you make best use of the modes on your phone, and what can you do with the pictures you take? We emphasise composition and break all pictures into two basic kinds with tips on how to get good results with both. Even bad cameras can take good pictures and vice versa. When should you use modes? You can still be creative even with a compact camera. Whatever your camera or your photography experience, we’ll add a creative spark to your photographs. Suitable for anyone from absolute beginners to stale hobbyists. We don’t allow anyone to tell us they have no creativity, whatever their camera!

DSLR cameras allow more creative photography. You can capture the motion of active people, or freeze the droplets of a fountain, the camera really does allow you explore new worlds. We’ll add a creative spark to your photographs, even if you’re still a bit unsure of your way around your camera, and we don’t allow anyone to tell us they have no creativity!

People photographs are divided into formal “portraits”, where the subject is aware they’re being photographed, and “candids,” where they aren’t. Portrait photographers know it’s not quite as simple as that. We’ll help you to get natural pictures of people that capture their personalities.
